The important things, in plain language
Information, not a diagnosis.

Lumen helps you organise records for better-informed conversations. It does not make medical decisions or monitor your health.

Keep your clinician in the loop
Do not start, stop or change medicines, supplements or treatment because of information in Lumen. Your GP or specialist needs your symptoms, history and clinical context to interpret results.
An in-range result does not rule out illness. An out-of-range result is not a diagnosis. Do not ignore symptoms or delay getting medical advice because a chart appears reassuring.
What labels and charts mean
Within range and outside range refer only to the limits reviewed from the source report. These are not personalised treatment targets. Missing or unverified ranges are not assessed.
Charts connect recorded observations with comparable units. They do not predict future results or health outcomes. We do not generate an unvalidated wellness score or biological-age estimate.
AI is a transcription aid
AI may misread or miss values, dates, units and reference ranges. Review every included item against the original. A model's confidence score is not clinical validation.
Lumen does not interpret X-rays, scans, pathology slides or clinical diagnoses. Keep specialist notes as documents and discuss their meaning with your treating clinician.
In a medical emergency
Call your local emergency number or seek immediate emergency care if you suspect a medical emergency, including chest pain, severe difficulty breathing or sudden weakness or difficulty speaking. Lumen does not alert a doctor or emergency services when a result is uploaded.
Emergency numbers and services vary by location. Do not wait for an app result before seeking help.
